Bricks 4 Kidz – Learn, Build, Play with Lego
Bricks 4 Kidz is the highly popular children’s edutainment program from the United States. Our classes provide an extraordinary atmosphere for children, where we learn, we build, we play… with LEGO® bricks. This is a hands-on class where students build machines, buildings, vehicles, and other structures out of LEGO® Bricks, using one-of-a-kind model plans designed by Bricks 4 Kidz®. While exploring principles of engineering, architecture, physics, and more, students will develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.Students will work in a lab-type setting using LEGO® components such as gears, axles, beams, motors, and batteries. They will build a new motorized model each week. Instructional content is multi-disciplinary and designed by educators to increase the children’s general knowledge and introduce S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering, and math) concepts related to the day’s model. All lessons are related to something children enjoy, such as sports, space, transportation, amusement parks, etc. Therefore the children are motivated and can retain more of what they learn while having lots of fun!!

Inline Skating/Rollerblading — Beginners
Inline skating or rollerblading is a great activity for boys and girls. After only one or two lessons, most children are able to find their balance and can skate on their own. That’s when students fall in love with the sport and gain the confidence to learn more. Skating helps develop autonomy in children, discovering their strengths and limitations, taking learning into their own hands. Inline skating helps children keep fit while having fun and encouraging fast decision-making and leadership skills. There are many physical and health benefits, including increased endurance and body strength, improved coordination, balance, reflexes, and flexibility. As children master the art of skating, the movement becomes natural, helping to clear the mind and relieve stress. Skating is simply great fun!Beginners will learn how to: Stride, Heel Stop, A-Frame Turn, Scissors, Backwards Skate, Safe T-Stop, and Circles: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIqQPGN04f8 Adapted skates, knee and elbow pads, wrist guards, and a helmet are compulsory. Jewellery Making
This course will provide children with the basic skills to create their own unique designs of bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and dangles. There is an extra cost for materials. Some of these costs can be shared among the group, which will make it less expensive for each student (elastics, pins, and other small items), but the pearls, stones, and crystals that children will be working with will be a further additional cost. The additional cost of beads is up to the parent/student. Here are three options:1) Join me on a trip to Chatachak Market to buy materials (date TBD). The advantage of this is that you will then be able to return to get more materials in the future.2) Make a wish list and give me some money, and I will try to get as close as possible to the materials your child would like.3) Provide your own materials.
